Trouble Maker’s Hyuna and Hyunseung Change Choreography After Harsh Criticisms

Earlier this week, we reported that 4minute’s Hyuna and BEAST’s Hyunseung (a.k.a. unit group Trouble Maker) had been severely criticized for their racy choreography to their song “Trouble Maker” on SBS’s “Inkigayo.” Many of the viewers expressed their discomfort in seeing the excessive amounts of physical contact on a family-friendly music show.
Today, Cube Entertainment announced that the choreography has been slightly altered. The sequence where Hyuna and Hyunseung excessively touch each other’s bodies and rub their hips have been removed. A representative of Cube Entertainment told local medial OSEN, “This unit group has been produced for the fans, and many of them have expressed their discomfort. We tried to respect their opinions by altering the choreography.”
Trouble Maker performed the new version of the dance on KBS’s “Music Bank.”
